Outline of Our Powerboat/Sailboat Delivery Process:

Our process is straightforward: Request Estimate: Your estimate request process is easy. You may contact Down East Yacht Delivery by phone (207) 318-6390 or enter your request via email. Review Estimate: I email our estimate to you in 3 days. The estimate includes: fees, estimated time, delivery captain's credentials, and the proposed route. Our delivery agreement is written in easily understood terms. I provide a fixed price for a specific number of days; if the delivery takes longer you do not pay for excess days. If we take fewer days you are only billed for the actual days. Select Delivery Service: My responsive and professional process; outstanding service, testimonials, competitive rates, and Coast Guard licensed captain are hopefully the factors by which you make your decision to use my service. Deposit and Insurance: I will purchase crew travel tickets after I receive your deposit. A copy of the vessel's insurance will be requested and we ask that the captain and crew be added if not already covered. The owner will provide proof of ownership and a copy of the vessel's documentation or state registration. Pre-departure Check: I assume your vessel is seaworthy. However, I will conduct a safety check of the vessel and her systems and prepare the vessel for the delivery. A copy of this safety check will be provided to you. Boat Delivery: My crew and I will conduct the delivery and perform daily maintenance checks and log the navigation and vessel data. I will provide cell phone progress reports so you can track your delivery while underway. After Delivery Service: I know you will want to enjoy your yacht soon after delivery. I will clean the vessel and provide a summary report of any maintenance issues found during the delivery.
